Piku Privacy Policy

Piku is an AI assistant for business WhatsApp and Instagram messaging, available at getpiku.com. Piku is operated by Asli Global Solutions Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, India ("Piku", "we", "us"). Contact: nanak@getpiku.com.

• Businesses that use Piku, and the people who manage their Piku account ("Business Users").
• People who message a business that uses Piku ("End Customers").
• Visitors to getpiku.com.

For End Customers, the business you are messaging decides how your messages are used. Piku processes those messages on the business's behalf and under its instructions. If you have a question about your messages with a business, please contact that business first. You can also write to us.

From Business Users: name, email, phone number, business name and details, and the information the business gives Piku to answer customers (for example services, prices, timings and offers).

When a business connects WhatsApp or Instagram through Meta: the business's account and asset identifiers, phone number and display name, and the access permissions the business grants to Piku.

From End Customers, on the business's behalf: WhatsApp or Instagram profile name, phone number or account handle, the content of messages sent to and from the business, timestamps, and any details the person chooses to share in the conversation, such as their name or what they are looking for.

From visitors and users: basic technical data such as browser type, device and log data, used to keep the service running and secure.

We do not ask for card details, bank details or government ID numbers in conversations.

• To receive and reply to messages on the business's behalf, using the information the business has approved.
• To show conversations to the business's team in its Piku inbox, so the team can take over any chat.
• To organise enquiries for the business, for example by stage, from new enquiry to booked.
• To provide support, keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use End Customers' messages to advertise to them.

Piku uses AI models to understand incoming messages and draft replies. To do this, message content is processed by AI service providers that act on our instructions. Piku answers only from information the business has approved, and the business's team can review and take over any conversation.

When a business connects WhatsApp or Instagram, we receive data through Meta's platforms. We use it only to provide Piku to that business, in line with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

• The business the conversation belongs to, and its authorised team members.
• Service providers that help us run Piku, such as cloud hosting, AI model providers and Meta's messaging platforms, only as needed to provide the service.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not share one business's data with another business.

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. Information may be stored on servers located in or outside India, with providers bound to protect it.

We keep information while the business uses Piku. When a business closes its account, or after a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymise the related personal data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. End Customers can also contact the business they messaged. To make a request, see our Data Deletion page or email nanak@getpiku.com.

Piku is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child's data has been shared with us, contact us and we will delete it.
